Multi-System Intensive Care Units
Medical and surgical diagnoses, including sepsis, respiratory failure, renal transplantation and vascular surgery. These services are offered

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, CVICU
Fast paced and challenging provides life saving care after open heart surgery and other vascular surgeries. Florida Hospital performs more than 2,500 open heart surgeries annually and boast the largest heart program in the state.

Coronary Care Unit, CICU
Largest dedicated Cardiac Care Unit in the Southeast and one of the largest in the nation, where Nurses specialize in caring for complex cardiac patients. Special Coronary Intensive Care nursing skills include balloon pump therapy, ventilator support, continual renal replacement therapy, ventilator support, continual renal replacement therapy and critical thinking abilities.

Neuro Critical Care (NCC) Unit
Nursing care unit treats patients with both medical and surgical acute neurological problems. The Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute treats more stroke patients and performs more neurosurgeries (approximately 2,300 annually) than any other hospital system in the state.
