Perinatal Nurse Internship Program

Florida Hospital offers a Perinatal Nurse Internship Program for those who have not worked in the Perinatal area but are hired for a position in Mother-Infant, Labor and Delivery or Antepartum High Risk. This Perinatal Internship program is a 19 week program that is offered one to two times per year. It is a combination of didactic and clinical education.

By the conclusion of this program, you'll be able to competently: Plan care, Administer medications according to hospital/unit standards, Perform basic skills competently, Communicate effectively in various situations, Prioritize patient needs and appropriate

When you complete our Perinatal Internship, you'll be eligible for the following certificates: Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Basic Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Healthy Mother, Healthy Baby Lactation Program
